Your surgery needs you.
The Diss Parish field Practice, like many others, has to look carefully at how it is to provide the very best services for its clients, both now and in the future.
Currently, one of the ways it is trying to do this is with the help of its PPG (Patient Participation Group). This is a group of patients, who meet every couple of months, to act as a sounding-board and ‘ideas-generating facility’ for the Practice and its management.
The group helps to bring together issues relating to the way the Practice runs now and how it can become more effective in spite of all the economic pressures.
It also tries to look to the future and prepare for the major changes that will occur, in the new services that may be provided and in the ways and locations in which they will be offered.
The group badly needs new members – of all ages and backgrounds, in order to offer opinions and perhaps advice from as broad and representative range of patients as it can.
If you feel you want to take part and can spare about 90 minutes every other month, on average, please e-mail the Practice Manager,simone.johnson@nhs.net,
